Dragages Hong Kong won the Outstanding Contractor Award 2021 for Professionalisation

Dragages Hong Kong is honoured to receive the 2021 Outstanding Contractor Award for Professionalisation from the Construction Industry Council.

The award recognises Dragages Hong Kong’s contribution to the pursuit of construction quality excellence in Hong Kong and the efforts it has taken to promote and practice industry professionalism. The inaugural Award Presentation Ceremony was held on 2 December 2021 at Government House. Mr. Wes JONES, Managing Director of Dragages Hong Kong, received the award from Mr. Michael Wong Wai-lun, JP, Secretary for Development.

Nominations were evaluated through multiple performance indices, including company initiatives to nurture organisational professionalism; staff professional qualifications; dedication to operational professionalism; and contribution to elevating professionalism in the local construction industry.

Dragages Hong Kong is delighted that the selection panel has recognised its performance and appreciated the efforts taken to share the company’s best practices. These include supporting staff development through professional training opportunities; the continuous refinement of management systems; and the promotion of equal opportunities and gender balance in the workplace.  The company also actively collaborates with local and overseas universities and keeps pace with the latest digital construction technologies.
