Dragages Hong Kong Projects Receives Top Environmental Excellence Awards

Dragages Hong Kong has been honoured with multiple distinctions at the 2023 Hong Kong Awards for Environmental Excellence (HKAEE), with the Trunk Road T2 and Cha Kwo Ling Tunnel Project earning the highest honour – the Gold Award, demonstrating the company’s remarkable achievements in sustainable development.
The HKAEE, widely regarded as the ‘Oscars’ of environmental awards in Hong Kong, is jointly organised by the Environmental Campaign Committee (ECC), the Environment and Ecology Bureau and in conjunction with nine organisations, setting the benchmark for environmental excellence across 14 different sectors. This year, the Trunk Road T2 and Cha Kwo Ling Tunnel project demonstrated exceptional environmental management strategies, including construction electrification and fostering circular economy, etc, receiving the highest honour – the Gold Award in the construction category.
Additionally, the Tseung Kwan O Fire Station (Fire Station-cum-ambulance Depot, Departmental Quarters and other Fire Services Accommodation) project secured the Bronze Award, showcasing Dragages Hong Kong’s consistent commitment to green construction principles across projects of varying scales.
These achievements underscore Dragages Hong Kong’s position as a leader in environmental innovation and sustainable construction practices, while reinforcing its dedication to building a greener future for Hong Kong through close collaboration with its valued stakeholders.
