As one of the largest contractors in Hong Kong, Dragages Hong Kong and Bouygues Travaux Publics uphold our commitment and contribute to the community actively. We are so delighted that we received three Sustainability Awards on the aspects of Safety, Environmental and Community Care. It is a good wrap up of the year and we will continue delivering the best service in the coming year.

HKMA Hong Kong Sustainability Award

We were granted the “Hong Kong Sustainability Award” of the Hong Kong Sustainability Award 2020/21 Ceremony, presented by The Hong Kong Management Association on 14 December 2021. The award fully affirming the Company’s excellent performance and contributions in economic, social, and environmental aspects, and our dedicated efforts in driving sustainable development and leading the way in the move towards the zero-carbon era.

Over the years, our Group has been proactively taking on a leadership role in implementing many important initiatives to address the environmental and business challenges, such as relentless efforts in developing new technologies, digitalising some of the key construction processes and integrator of low-carbon solutions whereby improving sustainability and providing better services to our clients.

This award is very encouraging for us to continue pushing our corporate sustainability agenda further into the next level.

The Highest Participation Award by Agency for Volunteer Service

We care about our community. We are honored to receive the Sliver Award in  “Highest Participation Award” in the International Volunteer Day Recognition Ceremony was held on 11 December 2021 organized by Agency for Volunteer Service, in recognition of volunteer’s contributions to the achievement of the sustainable development goals. The Honourable Caspar Tsui Ying-wai, JP, Secretary for Home Affairs attended to officiate at the Ceremony.

Every year, the Dragages Hong Kong Volunteers team join hands with non-profit organisations to hold community. In this year, we mobilized our volunteers’ team to pack individual anti-pandemic kits and distributed them to construction workers, elderly people, low-income households, and people with physical or intellectual impairment. Moreover, we brought 130 students from Hong Chi Shiu Pong Morninghope School (Tung Chung) discovered Hong Kong by taking an open-air double decker.

In the coming future, we will continue to contribute the sustainable and harmony community.

Hong Kong Occupational Safety and Health Award

The safe way is the only way. We received satisfactory results in “The 20th Hong Kong Occupational Safety & Health Award”, organized by Occupational Safety & Health Council which held on 20 December 2021. We got a total of 5 awards including “Work Safe Behaviour Award – Gold” and “Safety Management System Award – Bronze”, “Rockie Safety Performance Award – Outstanding”, “5S Good Housekeeping Best Practices Award – Gold” and “OSH Enhancement Program Award”.
