This is the contract awarded by the Hong Kong Airport Authority for the design and construction of the Transit Mail Center at the Hong Kong International Airport.

The project involves designing and constructing a new, two-storey facility with both airside and landside access. The scope of work includes constructing a two-storey building, auxiliary buildings, building services installations, external works, landscaping works, and associated civil works, with an estimated Construction Floor Area of 11,300 m². The utilization of full-scale Building Information Modelling (BIM) on this project will showcase the digitization applications of Dragages Hong Kong in the local construction industry. Once completed, the TMC will be one of the most advanced logistics hubs in Hong Kong, equipped with state-of-the-art equipment for efficient mail sorting.

As the development will be designed to fully accommodate functional requirements, intensive coordination with the client and operator will be a prime focus throughout the project. The NEC4 Option C contract will provide the platform for the client and our project team to formulate common project deliverables.
